At-Tahiyyat · Sitting · 1 verse

A testimony of faith and greeting to the Prophet ﷺ and all righteous servants of Allah. It originated from the conversation between Allah and the Prophet during the Mi'raj (Night Journey). Includes the Shahadah — the core declaration of Islamic faith. During its recitation, the worshipper raises the right index finger as a physical affirmation of Tawhid (oneness of Allah).

التَّحِيَّاتُ لِلَّهِ وَالصَّلَوَاتُ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْنَا وَعَلَىٰ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ الصَّالِحِينَ، أَشْهَدُ أَن لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
At-tahiyyātu lillāhi waṣ-ṣalawātu waṭ-ṭayyibāt. As-salāmu ʿalayka ayyuhā n-nabiyyu wa-raḥmatu llāhi wa-barakātuh. As-salāmu ʿalaynā wa-ʿalā ʿibādi llāhi ṣ-ṣāliḥīn. Ashhadu an lā ilāha illā llāh, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa-rasūluh.

All compliments, prayers, and pure words are for Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

সমস্ত সম্মান, প্রার্থনা ও পবিত্র কথা আল্লাহর জন্য। হে নবী, আপনার প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক এবং আল্লাহর রহমত ও তাঁর বরকত। আমাদের প্রতি এবং আল্লাহর সৎকর্মপরায়ণ বান্দাদের প্রতি শান্তি বর্ষিত হোক। আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, আল্লাহ ছাড়া কোনো উপাস্য নেই, এবং আমি সাক্ষ্য দিচ্ছি যে, মুহাম্মদ তাঁর বান্দা ও রাসূল।
